Thinking of running your own business on-line but not sure what to sell or what services to offer?
Your hobby can be a good place to start or maybe you have a particular skill or knowledge that people will pay for.
Start by writing a list of your hobbies and interests plus any specialist skills and think of ways in which they might be transferred to the web, then search the internet to see if anyone else is making money in those niches.
Don't be put of when you discover lots of sites in your niche, If there are lots of sites then that means there is a demand and where there is demand there is money to be made.
Do your research, lots of it! Visit all the sites you can in your niche, write down what is good about it, what do they do badly and how easy the site is to navigate. Learn from what they are doing and do it better.
